Planting that looks like landscape design, not a trip to the nursery
A lot of plantings look like someone grabbed whatever was on the end cap at the garden center and stuck it in the ground. No thought to scale, no rhythm, no relationship to the hardscape or the house — just plants in holes.
We approach planting as design. Every selection is made for how it relates to the structure around it — height against a wall, texture next to stone, color through the seasons, and mature size that won't outgrow the space in two years. The goal is a landscape that looks better over time, not one that needs a full rip-out down the road.
Beyond plant choice, the install matters. Proper root preparation, backfill matched to the species, correct planting depth, and mulch that suppresses weeds without smothering crowns — details that determine whether a plant thrives or just survives long enough to decline. In Central Oregon's high desert climate, the margin for error is thinner. Wrong exposure, wrong soil amendment, or wrong watering plan and you're replacing plants by August.
We select species that are proven performers in this climate, install them with attention to long-term health, and make sure the irrigation is dialed to match. If you want plantings that look intentional and hold up through Bend's dry summers and cold winters, that's what we deliver.
